My ability in the artistic

Hello Everyone I am going to talk about “the artistic things that I like to do”

I don´t believe to be an artistic person, despite I like this area, I do not consider to have the best ability for literature, art or music.

The artistic things that I do, In literature I write a little in my free time but I read any things, with respect to art I just draw and paint when it’s extremely necessary, I am really bad :C.

In the music I get to have more ability, I can play instruments, which are Guitar, Mandolin and Violin.

I remember when I was eight years old I could play my first guitar and when I was growing up, I learnt to play the other Instruments. In 2013 I could already play mandolin and I recently bought my Violin, I am learning because I don´t have so much time.

I don´t play any kind of music, I just play any song that I like or I listen in my computer or radio.

When I have any time or I have less responsibility I enjoy playing enough my instruments because I get relaxed and I also have a good moment.

Hello Everyone!!

Today, I am going to talk about my experience using blogs in the English class.

This year I have written nine blogs, when I began, I found it pretty difficult for me how I just think in number words, I have to write. However, while I pass the blogs I learn to write of better manner.

In general, my experience about blogs was interesting because I can learn to express my ideas, to comment other blogs and to read how other people drafting their blogs. Besides I understand how important is to have a big vocabulary, due to it gives a facility when you want to write.

I feel that I have gotten to develop my skill optimize manner and I can let to say that I have a new skill in my life.

I would like to include in the future, I believe that I would keep this system because I found interesting and I enjoyed. But any topics I would change it.

I would like to write about beach, transport, animals, plants, space, history, city, art, sports, news, tourism, countries, among others.

This is the last blog, I have to farewell see you soon.

Cultural Geography

Hello Everyone!!

Today, I am going to talk about my favorite subject in Geography.

This subject that I like, is Cultural Geography; because I have gotten to learn a lot about different items or topic related with society, community and individual.

The topics that I saw and learnt in class were:

- What is Cultural Geography
- Diffusion and structure of culture
- Huxley’s Model
- Heritage: Definition and application in the city
- Perception, Identity, Subjectivity, alterity, gentrification and Imaginaries applied in the society through Mental Maps and Participative Cartography
- Local Culture v/s Global Culture
- Landscapes as Urban as Rural, and territory
- Development Touristic and cultural Touristic

I have to apply those topics in an investigation in Valparaiso, that city was named Heritage of humanity in 2003, my investigation is especially based in two areas (Cerro Placeres y Larraín).

I investigate, how does the new buildings affect the local identity and community in cerro Larraín and Placeres?

Why do I like this Subject? I like Cultural Geography, because I enjoyed to learn new things, besides I can see a wonderful city like Valparaiso.

Hi Everybody !! Today, I am going to talk about a website related to Geography career.

"Urban Platform" is a website, where you can find related-things with architecture, cities, people, environment, transport, connectivity, projects, indexes, Demography, Geography, among others. Also there are constantly published news about topics that are mentioned before, with images.

Also if you look up a website where you could give your opinion of professional form, uploading an article or even seek an event related with topics mentioned.

I have to mention that "Urban Platform" provides urban guides, where allusion to infrastructure and its form of each city, it's for Chilean's cities as world cities.

  

When I found "Urban Platform" in 2016. I visit it each week, because I have always interested in that topics and the most important is that talk about Geography.

I like "Urban Platform" due to I am informed about the contingency, I also learn a lot about project for Santiago and other cities in the next years.

Photograph ..........

Hi everyone!! Today, I am going to talk “Photographs”

In general, my favorite photographs are about landscapes, animals, forest, among others, however I also like the past photograph about the families, houses or transport in the last century and also the events in the past that were important.

Now I comment about a photograph that when I found it, I didn´t like a lot. But it´s representative and also it shows horrors and hardships of a war.

This photograph was taken in black and white by Phan Thi Kim Phúc, on june 8th, 1972 (it´s near to turn forty five years).

In the photograph there are children, who were attacked with napalm bomb. They are also with soldiers in the image. That occurred in Vietnam´s war.

I don´t like it a lot, because it shows sadness, hardship, among other emotion relations with the war. In resume it´s important to remember that we must to coexist and to share in harmony.

Music............

Hi Everyone!! Today, I will talk about Music.

I believe I don´t have any preference for any kind of music in special. However, I prefer to choose the music for rhythm and content; that way is how I choose the songs or music.

When I listen to music or song that I like, I always move my right foot, always.  But not my head or body, I don´t like more.

If I have to tell any band or group that I like…. I enjoy groups such as Soda stereo, Los Prisioneros, among others, that’s in Spanish; and English I like Linkin Park, Nikelback, Nirvana, among others. In general their songs, I like.

I have never attended to a concert, because I don´t consider a big fan to go or follow to the bands or groups that I mentioned. But I like the people to go or follow his/ her favorite band or group.

Books.....

Hi everybody! Today, I will talk about books.

In this moment, I just can remember one book, which I read in first grade, the book´s name is “Matrioska”. Its history related about carpenter, who makes doll in base a piece of wood. That was the first book I read alone and I remember.

I don´t believe I have an author favorite, because when I read I don´t have any preferences, about authors and kind of books.

Do I have any favorite book? I had never thought whether I have a favorite book, and I don´t have any tending about topics in especial to read either.

Now, I’m not reading anything, and I´m just reading documents, texts and books associated to University; I hope to read some book in my vacation.

Finally, I want to mention I fancy reading books  without import its size.
